A day trip with our donkeys is the perfect introduction to donkey trekking — and a wonderful family adventure for holidays or weekends!
Our hikes lead you through the surrounding wilderness, picturesque villages, rolling hills, and peaceful forests. The route and duration can easily be adapted to the age and fitness level of the participants, making it a relaxing yet engaging outdoor experience for everyone.
Every day hike begins at our donkey ranch, where you’ll get to know your donkey and learn the basics of donkey care and handling. You can enjoy the tour independently with your donkey or accompanied by an experienced guide who knows the trails and stories of the region.
Of course, no excursion is complete without a picnic break! While you enjoy your meal, the donkeys can rest nearby, happily munching on fresh grass and herbs. You are welcome to bring your own lunch, or we can prepare a picnic with local products for you.
For an extra treat, it’s also possible to combine your tour with a wine tasting in a nearby cellar — a perfect blend of nature, local flavor, and gentle adventure.

From the airport, you can get to Figueres by train.
Nearest train station:
Figueres: 13 km
Figueres Vilafant (TGV, AVE): 15 Km
The easiest way to get to the ranch from Figueres train station is by taxi (aprox. 30€). Also, there are buses 2-3 times a day.
By the AP7 motorway: From Barcelona, direction Girona, France / From France, Perpignan direction Spain, Barcelona
Take the exit Figueres nord and continue on the national road N II direction nord.
Take exit Sant Climent, Vilarnadal and continue on GIV-6026 to Vilarnadal.
Take the 2and entrance, turn here into village and pass next to the church.
Go out on the other side of village you will find a road fork next to a fountain.
Take the road to the right, then continue for about 1 km to the entrance.
